Terms of Service
These terms set out what you can expect from Misora and what we ask of you. They form an agreement between you and us when you create an account or place an order.
Last updated 18 August 2026
1. Who you are dealing with
Misora (Misora) prepares and delivers recipe kits in Trinidad & Tobago. You can reach us at misorainc@gmail.com. Our registered address is [registered business address — to be added].
In these terms, "we", "us" and "Misora" mean the business above. "You" means the person holding the account.
2. Your account
You need an account to order. You must be at least 18 years old, give accurate information, and keep your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close an account that is being used dishonestly, or to abuse our team or delivery partners.
3. How the weekly cycle works
Misora runs on a weekly rhythm, and the timings matter:
- Sunday — the week's menu opens and you choose your meals.
- Wednesday, midnight — orders close. This cutoff is firm, because we buy ingredients against confirmed orders to avoid waste.
- Thursday to Friday — ingredients are bought, portioned and packed.
- Saturday — delivery or pickup.
Payment is due before the Wednesday cutoff. If we have not received and confirmed your payment by then, no kit is prepared for you that week. We will not treat that as a cancellation of your subscription — you simply skip the week.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are quoted in United States dollars (USD) on our pricing page, with the Trinidad & Tobago dollar (TTD) equivalent shown alongside. Orders are currently charged in TTD. The price shown when you order is the price you pay for that week.
Payment is taken through WiPay, a licensed payment provider. You enter your card details on WiPay's own secure page — Misora never receives, sees or stores your card number.
A payment is only complete once we have confirmed it against our WiPay records. Until then your order shows as awaiting confirmation. If a payment is later reversed or charged back, we may hold or cancel the affected order.
We may change our prices. If we do, we will tell you before the change applies to you, and it will never apply to a week you have already paid for. Founding-cohort members keep the rate they signed up at for as long as their subscription runs without a break.
5. Pausing and cancelling
There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. You may pause or cancel at any time from your profile or by emailing us.
To pause or cancel a particular week, you must do so before the Wednesday midnight cutoff for that week. After the cutoff we have already bought and portioned perishable ingredients for you, so that week's payment is not refundable.
6. Delivery and pickup
We deliver to the areas listed on our delivery zones section. You are responsible for giving us an accurate address and for being reachable on delivery day.
Kits contain fresh, chilled ingredients including raw proteins. Someone must be available to receive the kit at the agreed address and time, or collect it from the pickup point within the stated window.
If nobody is available and we cannot safely leave the kit, we cannot guarantee its safety once it has been out of refrigeration, and we may have to dispose of it. In that case we are not able to offer a refund or a replacement. This is a food safety requirement, not a penalty.
7. Once your kit arrives, it's over to you
Refrigerate your kit as soon as it arrives. Follow the storage guidance, use-by dates and cooking instructions on the recipe card — particularly the cooking temperatures for raw proteins. Full guidance is on our Allergens & Food Safety page.
We are responsible for the condition of a kit up to the point it is delivered to you or collected by you. After that, safe storage, handling and cooking are yours.
8. Allergies and dietary requirements
Our kitchen handles nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish, eggs, soy and other allergens. We cannot guarantee that any kit is free from any particular allergen.
Please read our Allergens & Food Safety page in full before ordering. If you or anyone eating the food has a serious allergy or intolerance, contact us before you order so we can be honest with you about whether we can serve you safely.
9. If something is wrong
Tell us as soon as you can, and on the day of delivery where possible — with fresh food, we can only assess a problem while the ingredients still exist. A photograph helps.
If a kit arrives damaged, incomplete, spoiled, or not as described, we will put it right — by replacing it, or refunding the affected part or the whole kit, depending on what went wrong. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights you have under the Sale of Goods Act, the Consumer Protection and Safety Act, or any other law of Trinidad & Tobago. Those rights stand whatever these terms say.
Because kits are perishable and made to order, we cannot accept returns or offer change-of-mind refunds after the Wednesday cutoff.
10. Things outside our control
Occasionally something stops us delivering — severe weather, flooding, a supplier failure, vehicle breakdown, illness, utility outages or civil disruption. If that happens we will tell you as soon as we can and refund the affected week in full. We are not liable for losses beyond that refund where the cause was genuinely outside our control.
We may also occasionally substitute an ingredient of equal or better quality if a supplier lets us down. If a substitution affects allergens, we will tell you before delivery.
11. Our responsibility to you
We take the safety of our food seriously and we do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, our liability for any other loss connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost earnings or the cost of alternative meals.
12. Your content and our brand
The Misora name, logo, recipes, photography and site content belong to us. You are welcome to cook, photograph and share our food — we would love that — but please do not reproduce our recipes or branding commercially without asking.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business grows. If a change materially affects you, we will let you know by email or on the site before it takes effect. The version published here when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad & Tobago, and the courts of Trinidad & Tobago have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Please talk to us first — email misorainc@gmail.com and we will do our best to sort it out directly. You may also contact the Consumer Affairs Division of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
